Good dog.

This is Jinx being a brave girl at the vet.

She is going in for surgery next Monday. It will cost a lot less than we anticipated and will hopefully fix her tendency to contract this antibiotic resistant bug. The couple of weeks post surgery will be a challenge but we will get through it. If you are interested she is having an episioplasty.

After the vet we took them for a walk along the Kalimna Jetty path. It was a glorious day.

This is taken from the carpark at the jetty. You can see the discolouration of the water from the floods.

Nothing happening on the block, much to Himself's disappointment. Maybe tomorrow!

Speaking of tomorrow, we are having our coffee group break up lunch at the Kalimna pub. It has recently changed hands so it will be interesting to see what it is like.

And that, folks, was my day. Nice and quiet.

  1. Construction industry RDO on Monday, if that is the day you saw nothing happen.

I can even see where brown turns to blue in our photos.

Googling episioplasty also gives me results for strange physically changing labiaplasty. Maybe women think such surgery makes them more appealing to men because they don't understand men. Men do not care. Maybe there are bragging rights to female friends after such surgery.

    1. I can assure you Jinx has nobody to brag to and couldn't care less what men think.

  2. Oh, poor Jinx! But she will be a much happier girl if this is resolved.
Our water around here gets like that after a lot of rain. In fact, it probably looks like that now.

    1. I certainly hope so, Mary. It will be an uncomfortable time for a couple of weeks.
I love seeing how the water changes colour. It is usually very clean and clear here and it is nice to know the change of colour is silt from the floods, not human pollution.

  5. Jinx does look a bit apprehensive! Just focus on how much better she will hopefully feel when this is over and she's all healed. Glad it's not going to cost the moon.

    1. She doesn't mind the vet but is a bit wary after her experience with the previous vet.
